How to play, and how to print
Making the cards
Put one word or short phrase on each line (commas work too). Duplicates are removed, ignoring capitals, so "Cake" and "cake" count once. A 5x5 card with a free space needs at least 24 different words, 5x5 without one needs 25, 4x4 needs 16 and 3x3 needs 8 or 9. The minimum fills only one card, because a second card would hold the same set. With 25 words there are 25 possible 5x5 cards, but any two share 23 of their 24 words, so players finish almost together. Aim for about 1.5 times the minimum — 36 to 40 words for 5x5 — so cards really differ.
With Free space on, Free space text puts your own words in the centre square of every card instead of FREE: a baby's name, "Happy 40th", a team name. It takes up to 24 characters, long text wraps and shrinks to fit (one short word reads best on a 5x5 card printed 4 per page), an empty box prints FREE, and changing it redraws the same cards rather than reshuffling them.
"Unique" here means no two cards carry the same set of words, not merely a reshuffle. If your list is too short for the number of cards you ask for, the page says how many it can make instead of quietly printing repeats.
To give each child in a class their own card, paste the class list into Names on cards, one name per line: 28 names make 28 cards, card 1 prints "Ana · Card 1 of 28 · set 482913" under the grid, and the cards are exactly the ones the same set number and card count make without names, so a lost card can be reprinted. Names stay in the box on this device; they are never saved or sent, so paste them again after a reload.
Your own pictures
Add pictures puts your own photos or drawings on the cards: family faces for a reunion, the class's own artwork, photos of the objects on a nature walk. Each picture is one entry, exactly like a word, so it counts toward the minimum (a 3x3 card with a free space needs 8 entries: 5 words and 3 pictures will do) and toward how many unique cards the list can make. Its caption starts as the file name without the extension (IMG_2034.jpg becomes "IMG_2034"); change it to what the caller will read out, or clear it to print the picture alone. Two pictures with the same caption are still two different squares.
Your browser shrinks each picture to at most 400 pixels on its long side and keeps it as a JPEG in this tab's memory. On a 5x5 card printed 2 per page that is well over 300 dpi, sharp enough for paper, and it keeps a 100-picture PDF to a few megabytes. Nothing is sent anywhere, and nothing about the pictures is saved: close or reload the tab and they are gone (your words stay). Pictures print in colour on the cards and in the PDF. The Caller sheet button prints each picture beside its caption; the PDF caller sheet lists captions only. iPhone HEIC photos open in Safari; other browsers cannot read them, so share them as JPEG first. The on-screen caller cannot see your pictures, so call a picture game from the printed caller sheet.
Printing
Choose 1, 2 or 4 cards per page and Letter or A4, then press Print cards. Download PDF builds one file in your browser with the cards first and the caller sheet on the last page or pages, which is easier to send to a print shop or print from a phone. The PDF uses the plain Helvetica font every PDF reader has, so it can only show Western European letters (accents like é and ñ, curly quotes, €); emoji and other scripts print as "?" and the page names the words affected. Print cards uses your browser's fonts and shows them correctly. Two per page suits most games; four per page is fine for 3x3 and 4x4 but makes 5x5 squares small (about 16 mm), so long phrases shrink. In the print dialog, set margins to Default and scale to 100%. On a phone, use Share → Print, or Print → Save as PDF.
Calling the game
Caller sheet prints every word in a shuffled order with a tick box. Read them top to bottom and tick as you go; when someone shouts bingo, check their card against the ticks. Usual win: a full row, column or diagonal. For a longer game, play four corners, then blackout (every square). How long a game runs depends on the list and the room: in 2,000 simulated games with this page's 36 sample words on 5x5 cards with a free space, the first line came after a median of 14 calls with 8 players and 11 calls with 30 players. A longer list makes every game longer.
