St Patrick's Day bingo cards for a classroom or a grown-up party
A classroom list of shamrocks, rainbows, green snacks and leprechaun-trap mischief, and a grown-up party list for the evening (raise a pint, a toast to absent friends, colcannon, a céilí dance). 25 different 5x5 cards, 2 to a page, with a caller sheet.

Running St Patrick's Day bingo
The page opens with the classroom list on 5x5 cards with a free space in the centre, 25 cards, 2 to a page: one card per child for a class of up to 25, on 13 sheets of Letter or A4 paper. The thirteenth sheet holds a single card, so set Cards to 26 to fill it and keep a spare. Each card uses 24 of the list's 52 squares, every card is laid out differently, and each one prints Card k of 25 · set S along the bottom, so you can reprint the same set next year.
In the classroom
Read one call every 15 to 20 seconds from the Caller sheet, or show each call large on the board with the on-screen caller. For a hands-on draw, press Print calling cards: the 52 squares come out 12 to a page on 5 sheets, and the cut-up cards can be drawn from a green hat or a paper pot of gold. The list mixes things children see or make on the day (Shamrock sticker, Green paint handprint, Paper rainbow chain), colours (Emerald green, Lime green, Gold glitter), green snacks (Cucumber slice, Broccoli tree, Peas in a pod) and the leprechaun game many classes play: a trap built the day before, then Tiny green footprints, Chairs turned upside down and a Tricky note on the board the next morning. If your class does not do the trap, delete those squares before you print; an edited list is kept in this browser for next time.
For a first or second grade class, choose 4x4 cards: 16 squares, and because an even-sized card has no centre square there is no free space. Play to the first full row, column or diagonal, then four corners, then a full card, and check a winner by reading their squares back against the caller sheet.
Children who cannot read yet
This page has no picture cards. Only about a dozen pictures honestly belong to the day (a shamrock, a rainbow, a pot of gold, a hat, a harp, a fiddle and a few more), and filling a set of 30 with generic spring drawings would not be St Patrick's Day bingo. For a preschool or kindergarten class, the Easter bingo page's Pictures for pre-readers set includes a clover, a rainbow, rain, the sun and a green leaf among 36 drawings; delete the eggs and chicks from the word box and print 3x3 cards. Every other set is on the picture bingo page.
At a grown-up party
Use Start from above the word box to switch to the grown-up party list. Nobody needs to call: hand out cards and pens as guests arrive, and everyone marks squares as they happen through the evening, such as Toast to absent friends, Someone says Sláinte, Rugby on the TV or Slow song at the end. The food and drink squares (Soda bread, Colcannon, Boxty, Irish coffee) only work if they are on the table, so delete what your party will not have. Some squares need no drink at all (Glass of water, Designated driver, Mint milkshake), so a guest who is not drinking can still fill a line. Type the host's name or the venue's name in Free space text (up to 24 characters) and it prints in the centre of every card. The first full line chooses the next song; nothing is played for money.
Printing
Press Print cards, set margins to Default and scale to 100%, or Download PDF to print from a phone or at a print shop. Keep 2 per page on 5x5 cards so the longer squares stay readable; 4 per page suits 3x3 and 4x4. Everything is made in your browser: nothing you type is uploaded, and there is no sign-up or watermark. For your own words, start from the front page.
